Demon Slayer has long been one of our favorite anime series, and when Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Castle was announced, I immediately knew I had to watch it on the big screen. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

It is made clear that not every main character (Hashira) will make it out of the Infinity Castle alive, adding emotional weight.

The art style has always been one of my favourite aspects of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The vibrant colours immediately draw you in and beautifully enhance the manga’s stunning artwork. Infinity Castle (Kimetsu No Yaiba) continues directly after the Hashira Training Arc, where the Hashira unite against the main antagonist, the demon Lord Muzan Kibutsuji, following his encounter with their leader and mentor, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. These pivotal moments set the stage for Infinity Castle.

Tanjiro Kamado, alongside the other Hashira and the Demon Slayer Corps, find themselves caught in a carefully orchestrated plan leading to an ultimate showdown between Demons and Demon Slayers. However, Muzan Kibutsuji has laid his own trap, imprisoning all Demon Slayers within the Infinity Castle, turning the coming events into a desperate race against time and a fierce battle that must last until sunrise.

Infinity Castle runs for 2 hours and 35 minutes, yet by the end, you’ll wish it went on for another two hours. Without giving spoilers, certain moments deliver a profound impact on the series and the future of the Hashira. It’s clear that not every main character (Hashira) will survive the ordeal inside the Infinity Castle, adding a deep emotional resonance to the story.

The Wrap up

In closing: Whether you’re a die-hard fan or new to the series (though you might miss some details), Infinity Castle is an incredible experience. I strongly recommend watching it on the big screen, surrounded by fellow Demon Slayer enthusiasts. The excitement is well-earned, and I highly suggest seeing it before it becomes available on anime streaming platforms like Crunchyroll.
